Terms of use
Last updated 1 November 2026
- Sijil is free while it is in beta, with no sign-up.
- The risk bank is a starting point to adapt to your organisation, not advice.
- Enter only data you are allowed to use, and don't try to overload or break the service.
The service
Sijil, by Chronorisks, helps you build a risk register: it suggests risks from a risk bank for the sector and size you pick, lets you score and edit them, and writes them to an Excel file. It is offered free of charge during a beta period, without an account. We may change it, limit it, pause it or end it at any time. If we introduce accounts or paid plans, we will announce it on the home page before it applies.
A starting point, not advice
The risks, controls, early-warning signs, suggested owners, typical scores and scales are general. They may not fit your organisation, they don't cover every risk you face, and they don't reflect every law or regulation that applies to you. Mentions of rules (for example on labour, tax, data protection or licences) are examples, not a statement of what the law requires. Your register is your own judgement: review it with people who know your business, and take professional advice where it matters. Sijil is not risk management, audit, legal, tax or compliance advice.
Your register
What you enter stays yours, and the Excel file is yours to use as you like. You give us permission to process your register only to write or read your file, as described in the privacy page. The risk bank text in your file may be used freely inside your organisation.
Fair use
To keep the tool free and fast for everyone, there are limits on file size and on downloads and uploads per hour and per day. Don't try to get around the limits, run automated or bulk requests, copy the risk bank in bulk, probe for weaknesses, or upload anything harmful.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, Chronorisks is not liable for any loss arising from use of the service or reliance on its content, including lost profits or data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws named by Chronorisks in a future update of this page. Until then, the law of the place where Chronorisks is established applies.
